All the programmes we offer have been designed to complement and enhance the learning outcomes and objectives as set out in the National Curriculum.

As well as STEM and History, each of our educational programmes incorporate elements of other key subjects, such as english, geography, art, design, and careers.

We can study the past and learn for the future.

We believe in offering programmes that go beyond the STEM and History remit.  This allows schools and colleges to offer students and staff the opportunity to enhance their learning across a whole variety of subjects.  For example, we use maths to calculate wing loading and turning circles; the climb rate comparison; and the “Tizzy” angle used in radio direction assisted interceptions.  Geography is incorporated as a way of investigating the countries and continents where the Hurricane operated across the globe.

Through interaction with the model, practical demonstrations and activity challenges, the guide below illustrates the various parts of the National Curriculum that we cover.

MATHS – Number & Place Value, Addition & Subtraction, Multiplication & Division, Fractions, Measurement, Properties of Shapes, Position & Direction, Statistics

SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY– Design, Making, Evaluation, Technical Knowledge, Experimental skills and investigations, Analysis and evaluation, Energy, Pressure in Fluids, Balanced Forces, Light, Forces & Motion

HISTORY – Changes within living memory, Events beyond living memory, the lives of significant individuals in the past, Significant historical events, people and places in their own locality.
